It had powerful performances by a good number of actors, had a nice tone and an excellent story. If you like dramas, you'll love it. If you like history-based films, you'll love it. Even intellectuals will appreciate it. You get emotionally invested in this group of men, and then reality sets in. Total review, I highly recommend this film for a variety of audiences. Only a weeks visit to the battlefields would give a comprable feeling of pride and patriotism that these actors gave to touch the hearts of all Americans. Another keeper..."Gettysburg". WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
