This movie was hilarious, although different from the first Friday, which was meant as less of a straight up comedy. The characters were excellent, and every one played their stereotypical role perfectly. The plot was a little thin, but this is not that type of movie, and was entertaining enough. Great movie if you are looking for something to relax to and not have to think about.

This was not a sequel. It was nothing like the first one. They could've given this another name and nobody would've made any comparisons to Friday. From Ice Cube having magical powers that make middle class women swoon just by saying "sup" to the lack of character build up, this was a bomb. I could've cared less what happened to any of them at any point in the movie. Plus, they didn't even make the antagonists feared at any point. I wish I could have the time back and just remember Friday for being a great movie without a sequel.

The was such a hoot---my favorite part had to be re-wound four times so that I could watch it again before I moved on. I could not keep from cracking up. Even 2 hours after watching the movie I was still laughing out loud thinking of the scenes. WONDERFUL!

Clifton Powell plays the role of Pinky...not Stanley... As far as ratings go...this movie is a CLASSIC! Ice Cube does an excellent job at making a sequel to Friday.
