Read More This is a really interesting movie. The characters were intriguing, and although I'm not much for science fiction it had an interesting psychological twist to a supernatural event. It's a good movie to watch when you're in the mood to think deeply about life and human behavior... but certainly don't watch this movie if you're an idiot who has never thought twice about anything! Read More the story seemed interesting at first, the did characters too. but the farther along in the film it got, the more it just seemed like a crazy daydream someone had once. a lot of the ideas are really absurd, and would never happen in reality. which isn't always a bad thing in movies. but this one was somewhat weird and pretty much gross at times.
i eventually came to the conclusion that it was basically an excuse to put these bizzare sexual situations into a film. regardless, i watched it all, because it bothers me not knowing what happens in movies.
but in the end it had been so weird, it totally ruined the story. i was totally disheartend when it was over. then i saw in the credits,
"directed by Michael Stipe."
then i felt a little better because at least that exlpained a lot of it.

There is NO point whatsoever to this film. Maybe those who consider themselves more culturally astute than 99% of the population could enjoy this. I guess if you like really bizarre, off-the-wall movies with no meaning or even a semi-reasonable plot line.. then this is the one for you.
