This film took extreme poetic license with the concept of "double jeopardy." The movie was entertaining, but not much more than that.

Pretty much the title of the mvoie tells on the plot, but it was a really nice movie. I think the how the movie played out could have been a little stronger, but it was still a good movie.

Sure main cast is big names. But let's start there. Ashley Judd was horrible, all the over acting, and she personally hated her husband's character, hated when she touched him, she flinches. The story was poor and simple, they had to make it nice and easy, no suprises, everything laid out for you to be a vegetable and not think at all. The dialogue was terrible, it was so unrealistic. The whole time you know what will happen, there is no guessing, this is so poor, how could anyone like it?

I debated giving this film a big Turkey (No Stars), but I balked. I'm only giving this film half a star because the concept was original. Other than that, everything else about this film was UTTERLY ABSURD and UNBELIEVABLE. If you dare to watch it, just think about how ridiculous some of the scenarios are. Great example: Her husband fakes his death and she goes to prison for it, but then he turns up as a wealthy socialite in New Orleans? Come on. If that was the extent of it, then maybe I could let the movie slide, but it is HORRIBLE. I don't understand how anyone could have something positive to say about this film. Unless their favorite movie is Howard the Duck or something.

Excellent movie. Kept my interest throughout. Ashly Judd is an excellent actress. She just made the movie. Lots of twists and turns.
