I loved this movie, it gives a very objective insightful view of the growth of Microsoft and Apple from their startups to what was the present status of the company when released. Seems to follow things very precisely to how they went down although I'm sure a good deal of it was speculation or inference. After all, there were certain aspects of both companies history that are only known to the people they happened to. Even so, an excellent introduction to 'how we got where we are today'.

I have always been impressed with technology, yet I have never know the story behind the success of Bill Gates. I thought that it was amazing how everything worked out between all of these companies. The acting wasn't great, but it wasn't supposed to really be great. These actors were portraying real live people and this is what I would've thought of them to be. It was great how it was really being told like a story of the success of these men. The transitions should've been done more smoothly as the scenes switched between the two sets of friends. kenzismoviereviews.blogspot.com

I don't know that there is 100% accuracy, but it is still worth watching. The face that a passion for technology can lead two groups of people to such great wealth. Steve Jobs personal life was exposed to me in this movie. I am glad there was correction made by Steve. Overall, good movie. Hard to put so much in such a short movie.

A very well done and unbiased (unlike the synopsis) telling of the unlikely beginnings and rapid growth of two of the most influential and competitive corporations today. Unfortunately a few key occurrences are overlooked, but in general the telling is pretty accurate. Anthony Michael Hall's portrayal of a young Bill Gates is just creepy! It's too bad this was made in 4:3 format rather than widescreen.

This is a great American story that screams to be told, but If you ever read “FIRE IN THE VALLEY” you will totally understand this review. The movie distorts the facts and in many cases just outright lies in order to further the film. This is supposed to be a docudrama, but unlike “The Insider”, which makes every effort to be accurate without the need to sensationalize. This movie comes across as a film version of an Enquirer story. And to and insult to injury Noah Wyle over acts yet another movie part. Perhaps Wyle and this film need to go back to the ER in order to resesortate them selves in this bastardized film...PASS ON THIS ONE...and read the book.
