Such a classic romantic movie! My husband actually (I had to beg him to watch it) LOVED watching it! The songs were fun & Maurice Chevallier is such a great singer/actor! I'd recommend it to anyone who loves musicals & a good storyline! :)

WARNING!!! this is the "SPECIAL" disc which has the old black and white version. It is Disc two of the set. Blockbuster does not do as they normally do with this. So......this was AWFUL. ...

WARNING!!! this is the "SPECIAL" disc which has the old black and white version. It is Disc two of the set. Blockbuster does not do as they normally do with this. So......this was AWFUL. Planned to watch the beautiful award winning musical. No such luck, got the B&W french with english subtitles movie. UGH. A waste.

I am not sure how I received what I received but it was not the Gigi of my memory. Although the envelope said it was the Leslie Caron Gigi, what I received was a much older Gigi in French with completely different actors.. A disappontment to be sure.
