I always thought Phil Hartman was so hilarious so I couldn't wait to see this but I was disappointed because there was so much that should have been on this DVD that wasn't. Most of the sketches were not that funny so I don't know how this was the finished prouct! Seriously, it makes no sense to me that this is considered the "best".

If this was the best of Phil Hartman he'd have been a complete failure. The sketches he appeared in failed to show any real talent, unless they were meant to be unfunny. The only brain waking moment was a Halloween sketch with Chris Farley. After watching this DVD my mind was so numb & brain dead I'd felt like I'd attended a two week seminar titled the "future of plumbing". Inconclusion If you like Phil Hartman this is not the DVD for you.
