Like wow this movie has to be one of my all-time favorites. The acting is so good. the story is fabulous and unlike todays movie which rely heavely on F/X to sell there story this one relies on the actors. It gets me everytime I watch it cause it's so what if it did feel. I highly recommend this one.

Have any of yall ever read the book, then watched the movie. I just got done reading the book for my 9th grade reading class, and I absolutly loved the book. If the movie is anything like the book, it has to be good. When I first started reading it, the first chapter, I never thought it would turn in to something so spectacular. Although, the ending of the book was a bit lame...but I guess you have to give a little to get a lot.

I've watched this movie many times over the decades, and it never grows old. A real classic, superbly done. A sci-fi movie that doesn't rely on special effects but instead on good storytelling.

Andromeda is a fun flick but a bit dated in a good way. It was amazing in 1971 but by today's special effects it is nothing. Then you remmeber you can have a good story without a $50 special effects budget. There is a good story and some drama, some acting and some suspense. Think of it the way you feel when you hear some old time rock n' roll....not current but you still like it.

What was wrong with the rating systems back then? There were butts, a womans breasts and slitting open of wrists with razors. Certianly not something to be seen by the normal General Audiences. I just thought that was interesting. Other than that, this is a classic movie not many people know of. You gotta love the cheesy sound effects.
