If you want high quality in a movie.. this is probably not the one for you. But, if you want a good grade A, sleazy, cheezey, movie-- this ones perfect. I wouldn't call it funny... more like weird ...

If you want high quality in a movie.. this is probably not the one for you. But, if you want a good grade A, sleazy, cheezey, movie-- this ones perfect. I wouldn't call it funny... more like weird and crazy, and it is clever too. Rose McGowan is very convincing as a totally wicked b*tch. I thought it was good entertainment-- not for kids tho.

If you updated HEATHERS in the late 90s and removed everything that made it funny, dark, and relevant...you'd have Jawbreaker. To be honest, I don't know why I gave it one entire star. The script was horrible, the performances were stretched, and the direction was uninspired. I wouldn't even suggest this to anyone who wants to waste 90 mintes of their life--there are much "better" Bad Movies out there.

This movie should NOT be compared to Heathers. Jawbreaker was over-the-top to the point of stupidity. While the dark humor in Heathers was clever and biting, the humor in this movie was crude and often fell flat. I don't usually require my movies to be realistic, but there were so many scenes in this movie where I just rolled my eyes and said, "Oh, okay now! I'm sure!"
