Apearently Gus Van Sand was completely unaware that 38 years had passed since the original "psycho" was released. HELLO?!... The key in making a successful remake is ADAPTATION. This is nothing but a pathetic, tallentless, effortless, literally word-for-word rip of the classic. It's discusting when tallentless loosers try to cash in on someone else's success. The music is ill-fitting; the acting couldn't've been worse even if they tried; no one who worked on this film can honestly take 1 iota of credit for originality. If Hitchcock had seen this deplorable film, he would've sued!

Vince Vaughn is the only reason to see this movie. While the story is slow and boring, Vaughn brings the necessary creepiness to keep you watching it until the very end.
