Read More I am disappointed that such good actors, music score (which was fantastic), and quality production was wasted on unbelievably bleeding heart naive left-wing propaganda. I don't know who the target audience was, but subtlety is a more effective way to get a political message across to a sophisticated intelligent audience. Case in point is the Fox TV series 24 season 5 (as compared to season 6, which was not in the least bit subtle). Denzel's more recent movie "A Man on Fire" (based on a true story) told from the realist's perspective, more than compensates for the pre-9/11 self-righteous Pollyanna role he plays in The Siege. The ending was a joke, if it was trying to make us believe that the FBI or any other organization would not have approved of the methods that the army used to try and safe guard us. And if you disagree w/ me just for a second place your Self on "Flight 93" Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More When this movie first came out, it was roundly derided for the far-fetched idea that Americans, in response to terrorist attacks, would tolerate a loss of civil rights and the summary arrest and torture of male Arab suspects whose only crime is that they fit a terrorist 'profile'. To embrace such things, the movie tells us, undercuts everything Americans have ever fought and died for -- and give the terrorists their victory over our way of life.
Now we have the so-called 'Patriot Act', the NSA listening to our phone conversations, Abu Ghraib, Haditha and Guantanamo and a President and Military answerable to no one - and there's nary a peep from most Americans. How did we fall so far so fast? Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I didn't like this movie at all, Bruce Willis was great but his role he depicted was shabby and whimpy. I didn't like the way this movie came across like Americans should feel sorry for terrorists or any Non American and they have rights and Americans have to always give in. After 911 this movie was in my opinion a slap in the face to Americans and I can't believe Bruce Willis was in this kind of film! Denzel's role was a big slap in the face to Americans and he should be ashamed to have played it. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
