this movie will really hold you. it is complex and the acting is excellent. not for the weak of heart though. lots of implicit and explicit violence.

Read Morewhile not lacking in scenes that did imprint upon the senses, it was a message wasted. the story promised redemption and enlightment as daniels paper evolves with derek telling the story of how he was able to flush the hatred from his mind by contact with the real world. cue the doves of peace. shouldnt we then find the answer to the question "what have you done that has made your life better?"
the purpose and point of the movie devolve (and the script and acting begin to suck) when the climax of the movie becomes apparent. in the end we discover that no matter how much white folk gain sainthood and forgiveness, (borrowing words from the movie) niggers is still just gonna be stone cold killers.
a very racist movie attempting to cloak itself as anything but a racist movie. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
