Garfield and Gomez are brothers and have incredible distaste for each other at least initially - Garfield is Attorney bad guy while Gomez is keeping books on number bets but is somewhat good guy. Garfield makes a play for Gomez's very young secretary (about 20 whereas Garfield is roughly 35-40 in this film)which I thought was somewhat interesting for a fillm of this day and age. Good acting, good story though somewhat muddled at times. Worth the rent especially if you enjoy film noirs.
