But if I remember correctly, this is the director's first movie, so not to bad for a first movie. It seemed unbelievable to me that a street smart black man would not be smart enough to realize, that when his car breaks down out in the middle of nowhere, and is towed by a strange acting white guy, to what appears to be a racist auto repair shop, (on the bathroom wall there were lots of racists slurs) he should watch his back and watch what he says to the person who has to work on your car. Instead he gets irate with everyone he comes in contact with. The actors are very unbelievable in this movie. But the movie is sort of interesting. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Some of the acting was not all that great but the movie left me with wanting to see the outcome. I find it hard to believe that anyone in a strange town with car issues, especially a miniorty person would have such a bad attitude, knowing what could happen to you. Nina, the acting I thought left a lot to be desired, however the theme of the movie was entertaining. I was surprised at the ending and somewhat dismayed but overall I did enjoy watching it. Read More I judge a good movie based on how long it holds my attention. Yes, this movie held my attention with all it's mini plots, but I'm not sure if this movie was really worth making. You see, the plot was a bit non believable and like a joke, there has to be some sort of truth to it for it to pass the smell test. Anyway, was a bomb, and it wasn't a homerun. I give it a double.
