16th Century Venice - when it was "a city of carnal sin & fornication!" A ROMANCE about a woman that becomes a courtesan after the man she loves marries another in an arranged marriage. Beautifully and tastefully sensual - and I need a cigarette. Highly recommended! (the movie not the cigarette) ;-) WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
