Read More If you enjoy The Omen series, you should definitely watch this, the final chapter in the series. As a whole, it is not as good as Damien: Omen II or especially the original, but is essential viewing as it completes the story with the adult Damien on a rise to political power as he attempts to fulfill his destiny. If you like Sam Niell, it's very enjoyable to watch him in one of his first movie roles. The film has some great moments and scares. I agree with another reviewer that the ending is not as climactic as one would hope, but altogether this is a unique horror series - a genuine horror trilogy where each entry carries the story forward instead of being made just to keep cashing in on the success of the original. And the ending isn't quite the climax i was hoping for. Sam Neill hams it up in a few scenes, but otherwise plays damien with delicious creepiness. Don't understand why the woman still hangs around after getting sodomized. Weird. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It felt like the plot was swimming in molasses. There were several (okay, at least 20) places that the creepy / suspense factor could have been really well done - but it wasn't. Sam Neill is too cheesy for the devil's son. (And any mother who is as out of touch as the reporter shouldn't be surprised her son is hanging out with the devil . . .) Bad script, bad acting, bad movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The Omen series is much like the Amityville horror series in the fact that at times the films can be to boring for comfort, a good script alone cant save a film. Also Sam Neill playing the son of Satan, not quite so scary theres better people out there who could have played that role. And what was with that stupid little kid who wanted blood put on his face? F*ckin' freak! Although I must say I did enjoy the ending to this film, but take my advice unless your a die hard Omen fan stop after the second one. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
