WOW I can't believe people are giving this movie a bad rating. Must be doing so just to be different. Actually the movie had quite a few historically accurate happenings in it. The reason they put in the love story was to get you emotionally attached to the actors and get an idea and a feeling of the loss that so many people endured on this ship. Most of the women had to leave their husbands behind on the ship and they died and I think they were just trying to show the sacrafice these men made for the women and the losses those women felt. And since it would be immpossible for you to get emotionally close to 2000 actors they chose two to focus on. Lots of people are saying it was fake and unreal..what about it was? How do we know there was not a love affair like that on board?? I went to see at the theatre 3 times I loved it so much!! Bravo James Cameron!!!! You can listen to peoples bad reviews all the way to the bank!!
