This is the first time I saw a Hollywood movie made exactly like a Bollywood movie and yet managed to hoodwink an huge audience. I was not moved one bit, was thoroughly bored and in sheer agony at the injustice done by the Oscars when this stupid movie got awards and a truly moving film like Amistad did not . Do not waste your time if you want something good. If you want to escape to a fantasyland , this just might do it. Kate acts just OK, Leonardo is just a shade better. A very improbabale story and a very uselss movie.

Probably the most dissapointing movie I've ever seen. They took one of the greatest tradgedys of all time and turned it into a pathetic love story. This movie should have been more about the ship and the disaster..but instead it was focused on a boring love story. The only good part about this movie are the scenes where the ship was sinking and people were dying...and you have to wait practically forever for that to happen. I wouldn't waste my money or time watching this movie ever again.
