Even Kathy Bates, who always steals the show even in small supporting roles, is flat.kate W. is woefully miscast. The love story is trite and makes absolutely no sense. The only redeaming characteristic of the film is the realistic horror of the massive ship sinking. I walked out of the film sick to my stomach over this horrible incident in history but also grossly disappointed how the trivial love story denegrated the mishap. Untrue, unbelievable un-inspired, but it did make ALOT OF MONEY!
Fake Fake Fake. Unless you are tied down and forced to watch it with your lady. Go do something else!!
