I enjoyed it immensely. I agree that the suspense doesn't really come from guessing "Whodunit" but in seeing how everything unfolds. In other words, relax and sit back for the ride. The nicest gift of this movie was a wonderful, understate performance by R. Lee Ermy. I've loved so many of his over-the-top performances in other movies, but it was a real eye-opener to see him perfectly cast as the confident, self-assured small-town sherriff. Although he was excellent in the Color Purple. You will enjoy watching this movie. If you are a fan of Danny Glover and Jared Leto you will not be disappointed. Jared Leto gives the best he knows and its good..very exciting and keeps you

The movie keeps you in suspense, the only drawback is Danny Glover. I think he is a terrific actor, but this just isn't his role. He's excellent in this movie but I don't think I have ever seen him play a really nasty bad guy, more/less a killer.

It is unusual--the storyline and the role Glover plays. It's so unlike him--but his charm is still there! The settings are different, especially towards the end. I learned a little about the area, nice scenery, and a type of profession that exists there that I knew nothing about. Definitely worth renting--it's not disappointing. The suspense comes from not knowing what hell do next. There is not a clear cut ... Read More The suspense in this movie does not come from trying to guess who the killer is. That seems obvious from the first. The suspense comes from not knowing what hell do next. There is not a clear cut reasoning to what is happening, but watching Glover in this role goes so far against what you are used to seeing from him, its creepy and unsettling to watch. Im not sure what Dennis Quaid is doing throughout this movie, his character is dull and one-dimensional, a total waste of his talent. Glover and Leto have a fascinating chemistry. Ermey, as the sheriff steals the show. As a true thriller it is mediocre, but the scenery, action scenes and off-kilter story line makes it worth watching. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
