The blending of past and present was an effective way of showing the character's dealing with the demons of his past. The stages we go through , from innocence of youth and hope to the despair of adolecence till finally we put our demons to rest (hopefully) in adulthood. It was a treat seeing a family more screwed up than mine.

I rented this film from the library and foregot that I had seen it before; it's very strange and weird to say the least...past and present keep blending together and the language is pretty heavy to say the least; unless your're interested in this kind of film I would just leave it be. 2 stars!
