As buddy films go, this didn't quite work as that. Tucker's every line's a punch line big laugh comedy and Sheen's dry understated ways (in fact in this film - near comatose performance) never meshed for me; however there is still plenty of laughs to be had from Tucker to enjoy this movie. I liked the green Mustang too!

This is not nearly as good a combination as with Jackie Chan, but Tucker's character will remind you a bit of the one from the "Rush Hour" series. Sheen plays a TV reporter well, but that fact seems to be forgotten after the first part of this movie, whereafter the interplay between the two of them takes over most of the storyline. Heather Locklear is almost a cameo, and the writers missed the opportunity to infuse her wedding to Sheen into the comedy, which is why I rate this one as I did. This is basically a movie that's going to be most enjoyable to ardent Chris Tucker fans, but you'll probably enjoy "Rush Hour" and "Rush Hour 2" much better (and I'm still hoping for a "Rush Hour 3" before Tucker and Chan get too old).
