Read MoreThis movie still holds up after a decade. Event Horizon is a great sci-fi psychological horror/thriller movie. The special effects are still sharp and hold up over time. The cast is great, story is trippy and intriguing, and the scares arent really scary, more disturbing than anything. If you like sci-fi, give this a go.
Blu-Ray: WOW! The movie is sharp and looks awesome. PQ can dip at times but overall this is impressive. Wasn't expecting this from Event Horizon. Solid 8/10. The audio is just as good. If your a fan of this film you need to check it out on blu-ray. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThis movie starts well. The sets are neat. The acting acceptable. Unfortunately, just about the time the movie gets suspenseful, it takes a wrong turn and gets weird. Totally weird. Unacceptably weird. Whoever wrote this screenplay has something seriously wrong with their spirituality. The ending delved too deep into the demonic and hell and evil. We don't need to fill our minds with evil. There is already enough evil around us to go and glamorize it as a poorly disguised horror film.
