A good scary movie. I was kinda intersted in seeing a sequel, but I also didn't want one to tarnish this movie. Definitely worth seeing, though it has some frightening scenes and some gore not for the young, its' R-rating is for a reason. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More This is a great, deep space, psychological, sci-fi horror film. This is one of my favorite movies and its one of the first movies I think of when I think of a good horror movie. I would recommend it to anyone who likes scary, gory horror films. If this movie doesn't affect your psyche, it will mess with your senses. Watch this one, you'll like it. Possibly the scariest film i've seen since the Omen, the imagery found in this film will haunt and terrify its viewer for days after its initial viewing.
This is the best film to marry horror and sci-fi i've seen in a good long while, and unfortunately, i have yet to see in recent years.
Pop this puppy in your queue if being scared out of your mind is your bag.
Hell awaits! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I'd rather have the cool sci-fi plot and the high tension of "Alien" than the gratuitously bloody schlock any day.
Good marks for a decent idea, bad marks for execution. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I went to see this film with the mistaken notion that with Lawrence Fishburne and Sam Neill in the film cast, it would be an entertaining sci-fi movie. To my horror it turned out to be "Hellraiser in Space" with a barebone plot with so much careless editing that the story did not make sense. All it was -was a senseless gorefest. If all you need is to be repulsed and shellshocked with gore then this is the movie for you. If a good story plot is what you're looking for - skip it. By the way, this movie only lasted in the movie theaters for one week! I wish I had waited a week before thinking about seeing this horrible movie! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
