Saw this movie on IFC. Horrible piece of trash. I know this was an intentionally bad piece of schlock, but Waters went too far. I can deal with bad over the top acting, horrible production values, and a nonsensicle story, but this was just not funny or interesting. There isn't one single redeeming value. It's as low budget an lame as any movie you'll ever see. It actually runs closer to campy 70's porn than it does an actual independant or mainstrem film.

If you're a true John Waters fan then you simply must add FEMALE TROUBLE to your collection! Now keep in mind this is early Waters. This is nothing as subtle as SERIAL MOM or CRY BABY. FEMALE TROUBLE is Waters at his raunchiest. It's lewd, disgusting, violent, erotic and sometimes trashy. A must see!!! Now how do we get Blockbuster to carry it?
