Frankie (Nick Scotti) is very cute, but that is the movie's only redeeming quality...and that's not enough. The storyline is weak, the acting is forced, and it is not funny (and for a comedy...that's not good). Gays are portrayed as wimpy queens. Straights are portrayed as macho. Every Italian is "guido". Don't waste your time/money on this movie. It's not worth it.

I felt the movie had merit on the part of humor. It was loaded with quirky wit and dumbfounded comments. It was a nice switch to see a movie poke fun at a straight person, jock like and not so bright. If you are looking for some laughs rent it and if you are looking for the mushy love story where a gay man converts a straight - don't rent it.

Hottie Italian New Yorker Nick Scotti is so easy to look at, but a very good actor. The plot is thin, but it's nice fluff piece to watch when "the weather outside is frightful" and it's too much of a hassle to go out and look at real life hottie italian men.
