Classic kung fu action. A great old school Golden Harvest flick with awesome sets and costumes. No name actors don't hurt the action, though. Great sword and staff choreography, stunning blood splatter, and a ton of great one-liners. It's so awesome seeing these movies in their original states and not the crappy video dubs from yesteryear! John Woo was a formidable talent in the old school genre.

Folks, it's a kung fu flick. I don't recall many kung fu flicks with plots and stories. You kill my teacher, I'll get you. You kill my family, I will grow up and get you. Sword play and action sequences are great for a late 70's movie. If you grew up in the 70's as i did and saw these movies in the theater then you appreciate the movies. If you grew up in the 90's and got with John Woo once he started making american movies then you missed the boat. This flick is good. Rent it!!!!
