Very sad without the humor and positive features of Secondhand Lions. I expected more.

Sweet sentimental though amusing story that centers around a young boy who's mother is dying of cancer. He turns to his eccentric uncles to find solice and strength. The roles of his parents are played nicely by John Turturro and Andie MacDowell as directed by Diane Keaton.

I loved the acting. Good family movie. A little sad but heartwarming. Not full of adventure, but a movie that lets you identify with realy life, especially for those of us who grew up during that era.
