Stellar movie - - about the reasons why the Irish came to America to begin with - - and the British oppression they had to endure for centuries. It also goes into the potato famine with an indepth report as to what truly happened. This film also goes into a nice narrative about the "Irish Not Needed" prejudice in America during the mass migration during the potato famine and after. Great GREAT movie, with nice interviews mixed throughout.

Very very interesting-although I heard both Aidan Quinn's and Liam Neeson's voices I didn't catch any stories about their families; however nicely done.

This was a wonderful documentary on the experiences of the Irish over the past 200 years and why so many emigrated. It was also a treat to hear so many famous Irish voices participating in the narration.
