I am an elderly trekkie and just LOVED this movie. It had all the old inconsistencies and the new ideas. wow!

One of the best in the series. Picard and Kirk together are a kick. Shatner could have played his Nexus scenes opposite Donald Duck. He's such a scene-stealing ham, Shatner not Donald. Well....

Not the greatest ST movie, but still very good. Its weakness comes from the the poorly devised attempt to "pass the tourch" from the OG to the NG. I thnk if they would have just went for a pure NG movie it would have been better.
