I was expecting more, but it didn't deliver...just a so-so old time crime movie.

From the professional review I was hoping for a better movie. I guess that it was okay when you consider that it was 60 years old. It was probably pretty good when you consider the time in which it was made, but it falls short in the here and now. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad--but it wasn't great. Worth a watch, if just for a look at the old cars and fashions, along with a thoughtful story.

As noir goes, not one of the best, but a grade B potboilers go...superior. Great to see Burt Lancaster and Yvonne De Carlo when they were younger, also spotted Tony Curtis dancing with Yvonne in one scene. Worth a rental.
