You can always count on movies from this era to be clean, straightforward, wholesome, etc., as well as a lot patriotic. It's nice to watch movies where the military is not the "bad guy."

One of the best war-love stories that I have seen in a long time. It had all the making of a great movie that any number of age groups could enjoy. The story line did not jump around a lot but followed one story and saw it to the end. I think that the movie ended to quick because you never knew what happen to Commander Connors after the submarine got back to New London.

A rolicking romance set in the middle stages of WW2. The romancing is of course complicated by the other man....who happens to be Captain of the sub. But all's fair in love and war. A nice Sunday afternoon pick.
