Synopsis of The Rug Cop

Cult Japanese director Minoru Kawasaki satirizes Japanese cop shows of the 1970s with this unhinged spoof concerning a chrome domed cop with a lethal projectile toupee. Officer Genda has just been transferred to a new precinct, and the timing couldn't have been better; a powerful group of terrorists have hijacked a valuable shipment of uranium, and now they're attempting to blackmail the authorities to the tune of five billion yen. Thankfully for the frightened public, Genda isn't the only officer on the force with a few tricks up his sleeve, because backing him up on his dangerous mission are champion eater Detective Fatty, handsomely endowed Detective Big Dick, diminutive weightlifter Detective Shorty, and the impeccably suave Mr. Handsome. Perhaps with all of their powers combined, this skilled team of cops can take down the terrorists attempting to hold the entire country hostage.
