This campy series follows the wild and other-worldly adventures of the Middleman - a freelance problem solver who specializes in strange phenomena that range from the metaphysical to the intergalactic. When struggling artist Wendy is recruited to be the next Middleman - because of both her grace under pressure and her photographic memory - she finds herself the only member of this weird agency who's surprised to be dealing with such strange events as a super-intelligent ape who escapes captivity and proceeds to assassinate prominent members of the mafia.
