When her husband Booth (Steve Cochran) is murdered, Hallie Shannon (Joan Freeman) is convinced that her former sweetheart Joe Cartwright committed the dirty deed so that Joe and Hallie could be together again. Unfortunately, Booth's twin brother Buck (also Steve Cochran) is of the same opinion-and Buck has a notoriously itchy trigger finger. Joe's troubles are compounded when Hallie herself turns up dead.
