Harrison Ford plays a crotchety research scientist and Brendan Fraser is the desparate parent searching for a cure for his sick children. I was expecting a "lifetime" movie but was pleasantly surprised. They did a good job building the story, developing the characters, and showing the struggling dynamic as they march toward the creation of a life saving drug. I give it 3.5 stars. This movie can be watched by the entire family and deliversa great story.

2 1/2 stars? where do they get these ratings? Sometimes real life makes a good movie story, this is one of them. Just read the movie jacket, this is no Indiana Jones, and you will not be disappointed . Excellent acting by all, the story also shows how orphan drugs come to market.

AWESOME movie! Was moved to tears a few times but not at all what I expected. Harrison Ford showed that his character had some zing to him that was much deserved! Bredan Fraser showed that he has more appeal than he has in awhile too. Loved how they kept ALL the kids involved & not just the sick ones. Did notice ALOT more focus on Megan though but I guess it was because she was the oldest one, but then again, Patrick seemed to be in worse condition. Ah, just a great heartfelt movie all the way around!
