I thought at first this was some corny country christian musical, but it took a very wierd turn and ended up being a horror flix.

The other review was, in my opinion, overly harsh. It's just OK, and won't get the lasting attention of the original. I liked it better than the Nicholas Cage remake, for example. Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense within paganism, and is more of a pure horror movie.

Some movies provide a strong sequel to an earlier film. Some don't. The Wicker Tree is in that category. It is a real ham fest. You could care less about any of its characters, especially the ludicrous Beth and Steve.
