This movie, as camp as can be is fun and brings us all to a fantastic time that was abit off in fashion, but still has a soundtrack that will have you singing in your car. Anyway XANDADU deserves a second look as an adult, you might be suprised as to how much fun being goofy and liking the 80's camp can be.

I saw this movie as a teenager and fell in love with Olivia. I saw it again recently and was struck by how ahead of it's time the music was (ELO, the Tubes) and how they blended the 40's and the burgeoning 80's. A fun movie for all.

If you're planning to see the musical "Xanadu" on Broadway (which is really, really fun!), watching this movie beforehand is a great idea so that you'll be familiar with the music. The music, Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly are all that's of value in the movie which is so bad that the Broadway production is actually a parody of it. Some of the acting is really painful to watch, but the music is great.
