This was a well done movie. A story of a successful hollywood star living the over indulgent lifestyle, soon to being a washed up has-been. He learns of the death of a close childhood friend which impacts him to review his own life. Much of the movie is him looking back over his youth in England and the choices he made that take him to where he is today. Through this, he grows up and I thought it was well written and well acted. I would recommend it.

this movie had good acting. it is important to note that over half of the story is actually the flashback. not my type of story, though some may like it. a bit slow and in the end, some of the emotional feeling toward the characters is a bit lost. daniel craig was good, though. story of redemption and memories. good soundtrack with roxy music and bowie! bit slow paced.

I loved this movie. If you are expecting to see Daniel Craig all the way through this movie you won't, as it flashes back to the past when his character was growing up, and how the early years leave scars that will haunt him for life. Its about making bad choices and lost love. A good thoughtful story and very well acted. I loved the British 80s feel of this movie.
