Great series, There are so many story lines going on you won't be bored. I wish we could get seasons 2 and 3. IT is so much fun to watch for the entire family, PG13,

The individual episodes can be a bit uneven, but at its best, this Brit TV show is serious fun. Quirky characters that somehow ring true in their strangeness. I hope Blockbuster will offer the soon-to-be-released season 2.

Although on the surface, all the characters are as alluring yet also as steely and impersonal as the 5-star hotel they work in, the series slowly reveals their softer and more human sides just as it gradually erodes the gleaming facade of the hotel world. Max Beesley serves well as Charlie, Hotel Babylon's deputy manager and the narrative face of the show, but as the concierge Tony, Dexter Fletcher injects the show with wry humor and quiet cool. Reportedly based on mostly true accounts of the hotel business by a 5-star insider, the observations offered by the show are unwaveringly humorous, however disturbing and strange. *Hotel Babylon* won't have a huge legacy in the BBC television canon, but it's timely and entertaining.
