The first 42 minutes are very slow and they could have setup the movie in about 10 minutes. The last hour is good and the ending has a pretty good twist. If they had taken about 30 minutes out of the beginning of the movie I would have given this about 3.5 stars. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie don't have great on screen chemistry either.

I actually hated this film. The two main characters lacked chemistry to make this film work. I think they were going for an Audrey Hepburn-esque storyline with twists, turns, and glamor. And while I normally like Jolie's work, I felt like she was hired to be eye candy. She didn't have a good script to work with. She was simply very, very lovely. Johnny Depp even lacked his charming charisma. There wasn't anything witty about this film.

Slow and boring. Didn't connect. Half way through wanted to turn it off. Kept watching hoping it would get better. I got so sick of watching Angelina Jolie strut her stuff.
