They're Playing With Fire (1984)
Member Rating:
In this deplorable Howard Avedis film masquerading as a horror flic, Dianne Stevens (Sybil Danning) is an English professor who seduces one of her students (Eric Brown) and then brings him into a plot hatched by herself and her husband (Andrew Prine) to get their hands on a few million that now belong to the husband's mother and grandmother. Before the first peg is in place, a masked nutcase starts killing off the cast of characters, perhaps with the thought of putting this vapid movie out of its misery and going home early. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

There are only two reasons too watch this movie and it is not not for the acting or the story which are both awful. The "Twin Peaks" of Sybil Danning are the only thing of interest in this film and they are on ample display. Fast forward to the good parts and don't waste time with the rest of it. Nuff said!

There is absolutely nothing believable about the goings on in this movie. Most of the story is ridiculous. #1 ridiculous concept: the Sybil Danning character's husband has had no nookie in a year with his bombshell of a wife??? Hello!!! Instead she seduces an 18 year old, wet-behind- the-ears kid every chance she gets, then takes him with her to Hawaii as a play toy. Talk about a dumb bunny!!! Sybil is really, really hot, though.
