Synopsis of The Cosby Show: You're Not a Mother Night
To alleviate all the professional and domestic pressures that have been weighing down Clair (Phylicia Rashad) in the last few weeks, Cliff (Bill Cosby) declares a "You're Not a Mother Night." Proving that he's not kidding about liberating Clair from her maternal duties, Cliff takes her out on a date, beginning with a fancy dinner and culminating with a passionate night at the Biltmore Hotel. Meanwhile, daughter Denise (Lisa Bonet) stays home and takes care of her younger sisters, Theo (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) screens Cliff's phone calls and Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe) and Rudy (Keshia Knight Pulliam) cook up a few somewhat questionable jokes to spring upon their parents! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
