Great film and a very interesting view on the original legend. For die-hard Hood fans, beware that this film does change the story. Knowing that might improve enjoyment of the film. Great performances from Crowe and Blanchett. Definitely worth watching!

This film has been under estimated by the critics -- they missed the romance and heroism that inspires the audience. The story gives us an appreciation of where Robin and Maid Marion came from and why they fled to Sherwood Forest. It is a prequel. 5 stars!
