Poor synopsis of movie ; there was adultery, fornication and showing of breast of a teen girl , drunkeness and poor image of marriage- movie should have been further explained in more detail as I would never see it nor reccommend it. if I had known what I was going to see.

This little miniseries, or whatever it is, doesn't really have much to offer. It is kind of like reading a watered down Harlequin romance. The main character is an unfulfilled wife of a repressed clergy, who, when he fails to get an expected promotion, just kind of shuts out everyone and goes into a depressed funk. Meanwhile other men seem to come out of the woodwork, all attracted to his naive wife, and she is just trying to keep her young daughter from being miserable and also trying to "find herself", which only gets a lot of gossip going amongst the parishioners. There's not a lot of excitement here, but if you like Danielle Steele or the like, you might find it interesting.
