I really love the classical Carpenter movies like The Fog, They Live, Prince of Darkness, etc. but this episode of Masters of Horror was truly horrible. While his episode Cigarette Burns in the first season was excellent, Pro-Life didn't even feel like it was directed by Carpenter. The story was weak and you couldn't care less about the characters. I did suffer through all of it (managing to balance my checkbook and pay bills in the meantime) hoping it would turn around but sadly it didn't. I would not recommend this to anyone.

An extremely flawed story from start to finish. The scary undertone music was way over used, it just felt out of place. The acting, especially from the family in the clinic, was some of the worst put on screen. While both written and directed by the same team that wrote and directed Cigarette burns (which was one of the best from first season) this one just fell flat. It was hokey and using the context of an abortion clinic, you expected some "point" to be driven home, but they failed at that as well (probably for the better).

This movie was just okay for me. It could have been alot better. It was really bad acting in it. Very violent and bloody.
