I love blues and blues history. This fictional story had some interesting elements. It was at a time of the introduction of solid body guitars which they include. Also illustrated is the blatant racism of the 50's southern states. The music at the end leaned towards rock n roll but I enjoyed it. I found much of the dialog weak and lacking. I was a little bored in a few spots but overall I enjoyed it.

Very good all black casted movie based in 50's race tention Alabama. Dialog was good...I've seen a lot worse and this does not compare. It was also nice to see a happy ending based during those obvious racial times. Will be buying it to add to my home collection.
