I thought I was getting into a boring dialogue movie that takes place in a mall - instead I received a funny, fast-paced dialogue movie that takes place in a house, parking lot and in a mall - but the mall has plenty of interest about it to keep one's attention. I truly enjoyed the parts Woody and Bette played. If you are the type to avoid Woody or Bette movies, think twice and try this one - they are portrayed in a different way.

I loved this movie....I don't know why other members rated it so low. First of all, you have to love these classic film stars. I liked Bette Midler better in this than in The Rose. This is my first time watching Woody Allen in a movie, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.....my impression of him was less than that before. The retro fashions and "mall hair" in this late 80's early 90's movie is entertaining just by itself! For Bette and Woody playing the prime roles in this movie and during the entire film, it was super entertaining. You practically need a piece of paper to count the times this relationship went back and forth in the movie....it kept my interest from beginning to end!
