Adorable film which catches Tom Cruise before he became who he is... Very well acted and at times very funny.

This is my most favorite movie of all time. Why, I do not know. I watched the director's cut. I am so glad they gave Curtis Armstrong the credit he deserved. He was the "steady." He inhabited his character so precisely. It was interesting to hear Tom Cruise's take on it, the director's. I would have liked to have heard the opinion of Janet Carroll, Nicholas Pryor, and Richard Masur's thoughts on being involved in the movie, if only 2nd hand. . They hit on the scene that I found most defining and so it was a satisfying director's cut in most areas. I will never get tired of seeing it.

This is a classic movie -- full of fun and trouble. My husband had never seen it, so I enjoyed it all over again with him. You can certainly understand how this made Tom Cruise's career.
