Ever since she was a young girl, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) has been able to see and talk to dead people--earth bound spirits who have yet to cross over to the other side and who seek her help in communicating and resolving unfinished business with the living. Melinda sometimes has a hard time accepting her "gift," especially now that she's a newlywed and looking forward to starting her new life with her husband, Jim Clancy (David Conrad), a paramedic. Her friend and business partner in the antique store, Andrea Moreno (Aisha Tyler), is fascinated by Melinda's talent.     If you like shows about ghosts you will love these. Jennifer Hewitt is the only one that can see the dead and she helps them 'cross over into the light'. Can't wait for season 2 to come out. If you have never watched the show you should, you'll be hooked!

    I really like things that have paranormal themes. I don't know what I was expecting (never saw this on TV), but somehow this wasn't quite it. I found it to be just a bit to "sweet" and sentimental. That said, if you're the kind of person who likes sweet tear-jerker plots in every episode, you'll probably like this. Just keep the tissues handy.
